Want to become an independent?
Hunters Hill needs representatives from all parts of the community. Maybe you want to represent a part of the community you don’t feel is being heard, or add your voice to the (nearly half of) voters that wanted to see independent consideration of advice, and stronger scrutiny of staff direction and decisions for which they have long complained. Perhaps you are just a known local who wants to roll up their sleeves and get doing. Whatever the motivation, I know it can be hard to move from that idea to action - and learn a few of the pitfalls to avoid.
